sabbath

  reminder

  our Creator wanted rest

  His timelessness gathered

  deposited within vines of fertile fields

  swelling inside blossoms

  fruits soon to be

  food so that we

  while resting within worship fulfilling

  on holiest of seven days

  could take our finite time to be

  humans graced with humility

  praising our Lord for sabbath gift:

  unfettered time to worship Him
